In response to market demand for mobility scooters capable of carrying larger users, TGA Mobility has launched the new heavy-duty Breeze S4 Max which has an increased rider weight capacity of 39 stone.
TGA has enhanced the engineering of the market-leading Breeze S4 throughout so that this Max version can provide ergonomic mobility for larger and heavier users. It encompasses a more powerful motor with added torque so that the high levels of performance associated with the Breeze brand are maintained whilst carrying a larger user. The all-round active coil suspension has been strengthened and the Breeze S4 Max has wider rear wheels and tyres for additional traction and power. It also has a wider, pivoting orthopaedic seat that provides unrestricted mounting and dismounting for the larger user.
Daniel Stone, TGA Managing Director explains: “Continually investing in mobility scooter development so we can offer market leading products is essential. We understand the needs of end users are always changing and with a trend towards larger scooter owners, we felt launching the Breeze Max was a necessity. Amongst several examples, we have already encountered one instance whereby an individual weighing 35 stone needed a mobility scooter but had been unable to discover a solution that would carry his weight safely anywhere in the UK. That was until he discovered the TGA Breeze Max. We have worked closely with our manufacturer’s R&D team to develop this mobility scooter and are proud to be able to now provide a robust and reliable solution to a new audience.”
The Breeze range from TGA has an established and respected reputation for providing exceptional reliability, comfort and build quality. The new and enhanced 39 stone capacity Breeze S4 Max continues this superb heritage and has a single charge range of up to 48km (30 miles). Modern aesthetics reflecting the direction of automotive design can be seen throughout the widened chassis moulding and its shock absorbers have been built for a smooth ride over uneven terrain. Similar to the new technology incorporated in the Midi models, the new 39 stone Breeze S4 Max encompasses energy absorbing bumpers for added safety and to minimise lateral movement whilst driving. The rear transaxle motor delivers all the power to tackle a 9.5o slope with ease and the adapted ergonomic tiller provides comfortable positioning for an individual of increased size. An innovative rigid canopy for all weather protection is optional.
