New to the market the StrongBack self-propel wheelchair is an award-winning, Swiss-designed product that incorporates a contoured backrest for effective lumbar support. Its sculpted backrest moulds around the natural curvature of the spine so that better postural positioning can be achieved with reduced slumping or slouching. Building on the popularity of the attendant-controlled version, the new StrongBack provides greater postural support and a healthier seated position for many wheelchair users without the need for complex adjustments. Its 7.9kg lightweight frame ensures lifting and carrying is strain-free and the 24’’ wheels are quick release. When folded the StrongBack is compact for straightforward storage enhanced by reversable leg rests.
