TGA's Safe Mobility Scooter Driving Awareness Day attracts high numbers and ITV Anglia


TGA, the leading specialist for quality mobility scooters and independent living products, has successfully hosted its latest free safe driving awareness day – attended by high visitor numbers and ITV Anglia.
This popular event gave mobility scooter users and prospective owners the opportunity to learn the latest tips regarding safe driving. TGA provided a comprehensive test track outside its independent living showroom which encompassed a variety of ramps, cones and obstacles to simulate challenges encountered in real-life. This free-to-attend educational experience aimed to build greater awareness of the Highway Code whilst enhancing confidence and safety. Several charities and companies were in attendance including Parkinson’s UKMS SocietyMacmillan and Rehab United along with Police officers from the local constabulary. In addition to the large number of existing and potential scooter users in attendance, TGA were delighted to welcome Kate Prout from ITV Anglia who was currently using a scooter due to a broken foot. A reporter from the national magazine Disabled Motoring UK (DMUK) also came along to discover more about this latest safety initiative from TGA.
