TGA dual Maximo and Wheelchair Powerpack PLUS launch delivers significant success at Naidex National 2014

We are delighted to have unveiled our brand new folding Maximo mobility scooter and pioneering bariatric Wheelchair Powerpack PLUS to great acclaim at Naidex National 2014 (stand B70). These two new models both generated significant interest from all types of visitor. With more of a bias to consumer visitors this year, the Naidex event provided the ideal opportunity to demonstrate all the leading benefits of both mobility solutions to end users living with restricted mobility.

Available from summer 2014, the folding Maximo provides a larger, 4-wheel version of the TGA Minimo with greater user weight capacity and an enhanced driving experience. The TGA Maximo can be folded into a compact size with a single, one-handed operation and requires no parts to be dismantled for storage. Despite its larger size, the Maximo can be easily stored in the boot of an estate car or 4x4 for wider owner freedom. The Maximo 'ride' is one of the smoothest available through fully active, all-round suspension and pneumatic tyres. These features along with anti-tip castors, provide safety and stability when tackling uneven surfaces such as mounting kerbs at an angle. Its optional lightweight lithium battery (only 2.65kgs) is a groundbreaking development that can literally be lifted by a single finger. With more range, features and comfort, the Maximo now combines all the benefits of a collapsible car boot scooter with a larger standard 8mph model.

Launched alongside the Maximo, the more powerful TGA Wheelchair Powerpack PLUS now provides the most effective method to propel a manual, attendant-controlled wheelchair and occupant weighing 17.5st. Based on the leading TGA Powerpack range that has been totally designed and built in the UK for over 25 years, the new Powerpack PLUS has a higher user weight capacity, advanced performance and enhanced safety features.
